When I posted the Blueberry Muffin recipe I had a lot of “Yummy” comments, which I appreciated. Because they are. Both yummy and appreciated respectively.
I also had 3 or 4 “Oh no! I’m on a diet” comments. This saddened me. But I got over it. Sharon had already put me onto a calorie count website. You enter the amount of each ingredient in the recipe, plug in how many serves and “Ta-dah!”, it gives you the calories per serve and other nutritional facts. Then a quick summary of the recipe’s good and bad points. Here’s an example for the Leek & Potato Soup recipe.
This data is for 1 serve. That appears at the top (serving size). It’s all been worked out for you. Obviously, if you have 2 or three serves, you have to do the math yourself.
This will appear for all recipes. I will add additional information when required. A large cake for example. If it can be cut into 12 equal pieces, that’s what the serving size will be. I’m hoping this should be simple and helpful.
